2021 tURQUOISE cIRCUIT fINALS roDEO HAS A NEW HOME

The Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo Has A New Home 2021 Event to be held in Camp Verde, AZ Gallup, NM – The Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo committee is excited to announce that we have a new home in Camp Verde, Arizona.

We have recently partnered with the Camp Verde Arena Association to host the 2021 Finals on November 4-6 with two performances on November 6, including a matinee.

Camp Verde, offers a central location and temperate year-around climate, and is one of Arizona’s premier tourist destinations. Located within an hour from Phoenix, Flagstaff, Prescott, and Payson, it makes a perfect location to host the annual Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo (TCFR). “Camp Verde and the rest of the Verde Valley is historically based on western tradition and roots,” said Mary Phelps, President of Camp Verde Arena Association (CVAA). “Western roots run deep in Camp Verde and many families in our community are still ranching, farming and raising animals. Camp Verde Arena Association built this facility hoping to bring back our Western Roots to where they began.” CVAA is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization that actively pursues regional and national events to the area.

“It was our hope to host the TCFR when we built our facility,” said Phelps. “TCFR and CVAA share the goal of making great events, which represent the western roots that the Verde Valley enjoys. This is a great fit for our community and business’. Camp Verde is also a great location for all the contestants coming in from the circuit and we are excited for them to visit our local businesses and wonderful sites around Camp Verde.”

“We are excited to partner with Camp Verde Arena Association to host the annual (Turquoise Circuit) Finals Rodeo,” said Turquoise Circuit President, Jim Dewey Brown, “CVAA has created a beautiful ‘if you build they will come’ outdoors multi-use equestrian center.”

The TCFR is a Championship event, bringing approximately 100 rodeo athletes from this region to Camp Verde. Participants compete for approximately $175,000 in prize money, during an action-packed rodeo weekend. Circuit cowboys are known as ‘weekend warriors.’ They participate in some 20 rodeos across Arizona and New Mexico hoping to earn a qualification spot at the TCFR and vie for a chance to qualify into the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo, held annually by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.

The TCFR is part of the circuit system of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. It features world champions, ‘weekend warriors’ and up-and-coming athletes looking to win a spot to compete at the RNCFR. Every performance will include bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding.

“Our circuit rodeo athletes are a talented and competitive group,” said Turquoise Circuit President, Jim Dewey Brown, “you won’t want to miss the action in Camp Verde as we showcase the best rodeo cowboys in our region.” Event and ticket information will be available soon and fans can visit www.turquoisecircuitfinalsrodeo.com for up to date information.
